I made this Prezi last year. There has been a lot of improvements made to this app since then. Take a look at my presentation about 1:1 at SWA. Of course things at SWA have changed too. Our 1:1 laptop program now begins in Grade 4, Grades 1-3 share a mobile Mac lab and Kindy have sets of iMacs in each classroom.

Padang Earthquake Donations

The Grade 5 students sorted the donated clothing into different categories this morning. The older students continued their work this afternoon. This film shows the students working together will members of the SWA community. SWA will send all the donations tomorrow to Padang. Clothing, food, medicine, water, mats, blankets and toiletries are being packaged today.

An Award Winning Design

Needing to Blog Again

I'm Jane and I have been teaching in Indonesia for 13 years. I have had numerous blogs with classes over the past 4 years. This year I have become a full time Technology Integrationist for Sinarmas World Academy. As I am no longer a homeroom teacher, I have not been blogging as usual.

I will use this blog to document my work as much as possible. We are running the first 1:1 24/7 Apple laptop program in Indonesia. The 1:1 program at SWA is Gr 4-10. The younger grades use laptop carts. We are currently in our second year of operation.
